Terms of Service

These terms cover calibratedsignal.com (“the Site”) and Calibrated Signal's channels, including our YouTube channel. They are operated by Nick Hanson through Calibrated Signal LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Site or our channels, you agree to these terms.

1. Educational content, not medical advice

Everything we publish is for education. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for a clinician who knows you. Reading our work does not create a clinician-patient relationship. The full statement is in our medical disclaimer.

2. Our content

Articles, images, audio, and video on the Site and our channels belong to Calibrated Signal unless they are credited to someone else. You may quote short excerpts with a link back to the original. Please do not republish whole pieces, or repackage them for sale, without written permission.

3. YouTube

Our videos are hosted on YouTube, and we use YouTube API Services to manage our own channel. By watching our videos on YouTube, or by using any feature of ours that relies on YouTube API Services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Privacy

How we collect and use information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. Paid memberships

When paid memberships launch, their billing and cancellation terms will be published here before anyone is charged.

6. No warranty; limits of liability

We work hard to get the science right and we correct mistakes openly (see corrections). The Site is still provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on our content.
